Lungarno degli Archibusieri in Florence
Coloured pencil and ink pen on paper
33 x 24 cm (13 x 9.4 inches)
The artwork is entirely hand-drawn using coloured pencils and ink pen on rough 200 g/m2 paper.
It captures the evocative landscape of Lungarno degli Archibusieri, one of the most captivating streets in Florence, connecting the Uffizi to Ponte Vecchio. On the right, the loggia leading to Ponte Vecchio through the Vasari Corridor is glimpsed, while the bicycles parked and people on the street add the element of everyday life in the city.
In the distance, the beginning of the Uffizi Gallery is visible, emphasizing the historical and cultural significance of this characteristic area of Florence. On a road sign on the right, I wanted to pay homage to the street artist Clet by reproducing one of his installations.
