With Pixel Jordan, I did not want to use the classic image of Michael Jordan in mid-air, now reproduced everywhere and turned into a logo.

I wanted to choose a different photograph, while still capturing the Jordan everyone immediately recognizes. The tongue out, the concentration of the pose, and the ball held before the move are enough to make the subject instantly identifiable.

In this case, the work on the pixels was particularly long and demanding. The aim was to preserve the strength of the sporting icon through a few essential elements, without relying on the most predictable image.
