Custom Artwork

Custom artwork

I create custom artworks with coloured pencils and ink pen on paper, starting from a subject or an idea and turning it into an image.

You can commission a realistic portrait, a calligram, or a cityscape. Each technique approaches the subject in a different way: through likeness, through words, or through the representation of a place.

Before starting, we will discuss the subject, the reference photograph, and the size. At this stage, I will also provide the price, production time, and shipping options.

I will help you choose the most suitable approach, so that we can create a work that truly reflects what you have in mind.

Below, you can choose the type of artwork you are interested in and find all the main information before contacting me.

Choose a technique

A realistic portrait is created from a reference image, but it should not simply copy it. Likeness is essential, but what I try to do is represent the person through their features and expression, bringing out what makes them truly recognizable.

The portrait is made by hand with pencil and ink on paper. To begin, I need a clear photograph in which the face is clearly visible. If you have more than one image, I can help you choose the one best suited to the final result.

A calligram is a portrait built through words. The image is not only drawn, but takes shape from the chosen texts, which follow the features, shadows, and details of the face.

It can begin with a song, a poem, a letter, a promise, a speech, or any text that holds a particular meaning for the person portrayed or for the person commissioning the work.

Likeness remains essential, but in this case the portrait has to bring together two elements: the image of the person and the words that tell their story, represent them, or make them important to someone.

To begin, I need a clear photograph and the text to include. If you need help choosing the text, I can help you find the solution that works best for the portrait.

A cityscape is a work dedicated to a place that is recognizable, personal, or connected to a memory.

It can begin with a travel photograph, a street from your own city, a landmark you know well, a space you pass through every day, or somewhere you feel attached to. The aim is to turn that image into a work to hang on the wall, keeping the place recognizable while making it feel more alive than a simple photograph.

To create it, I need a clear photograph of the chosen place. If you have more than one image, I can help you choose the one that works best for you.

How it works

To begin, you can write to me and tell me what kind of artwork you have in mind, sending one or more reference photographs.

We will discuss the subject, the size, and the most suitable approach together. If you have doubts about which photograph to use, I can help you choose the image that works best for the final result.

Before starting, I will confirm the price, production time, payment method, and shipping options. This way, you will have all the information clearly before making a decision.

Once everything has been agreed, the work can begin.

Booking and Payment

In order to book the period in which I will create the artwork, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price is required.

The remaining amount can be paid in full or divided into multiple payments, depending on your needs. In any case, the artwork will only be shipped after the full payment has been completed.

Before the final payment, I will send you photographs of the completed artwork, so you can see the result before delivery. Where possible, I will be able to make small adjustments before shipping.

The artwork will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal. All details will be agreed before the work begins.

Shipping

Shipping costs may vary depending on the destination country and will be communicated before the work begins.

Delivery usually takes 1–2 working days within Italy and around 2–3 working days within the European Union.

For shipments outside the European Union, delivery times may be up to around 30 days, as the required documentation procedures must be completed through the Export Office.

To ensure safe delivery, the artwork will be shipped in a lightweight protective frame and entrusted to a specialized courier. I will provide the tracking number as soon as it is available.

Ah Ah Ah! Non hai detto la parola magica!
